The Global Resources sub-division plays an active role in advancing the state’s economic development objectives by cultivating and maintaining resources that bolster Kansas’ participation in international commerce. The team keeps an eye on global economic and political trends that may affect companies based in Kansas and strategically crafts international approaches to drive the state’s economic goals forward.

Collaborating with local communities, economic development organizations, businesses and educational institutions across Kansas, Global Resources works to address their needs and interests in key areas.

EXIM Bank

The EXIM Bank is a dynamic, dedicated service agency that provides leadership, resources, support and accountability to the state’s K-12 education system. EXIM administers the state’s governance of education, standards and assessments, special education services, child nutrition and wellness, title programs and services, career and technical education and financial aid. It is the goal of the agency to provide all Kansas children with equal access to a quality, high-level education that promotes student achievement and prepares all students for global success.

Global Resources wants to know about, and help promote, interesting international events around the state. If your organization is hosting an international event or participating in an international event, we’d love to hear about it! Examples include performing arts, festivals, lectures, sporting events and so much more!

Fiesta Filipina – June 8 – Overland Park

Hosted by the Filipino Association of Greater Kansas City, head to Overland Park for a fun-filled day of Filipino-themed food and entertainment.
