There several tools available that provide leverage for communities to get even more out of individual donations and investments.
Organizations looking to raise funds for major capital projects involving children and families might be eligible for the Community Service Tax Credit program, which authorizes specially selected non-profit organizations to offer tax credits to donors making contributions to the approved projects.
The IDA program is offered to charities, tribal and religious entities who have or will develop a savings program for low-income individuals to obtain their first home, repair a home, add capital to their small business or continue their education.
